Background
Slack has strict policies regarding security and privacy, and 3rd-party apps like Commet have to follow them. For that reason, Commet has feature limitations when a Team is integrated with Slack private channels.
Limitations
- Invitations
- Users can’t invite other users unless they are a member of all the private channels integrated with the Commet Team.
- An invitation becomes invalid if the invited person has been removed from any of the private channels that the Commet Team has integrated.
- Integration
- Private channels can’t be integrated with the Commet Team if the team has a member who is not a member of any of the private channels that are being added.
- Member management
- If a user has been removed from a Slack private channel, he/she will also be removed from the Commet Teams that have integrated with that private channel.
